Terms of Service & Marketplace Rules

By browsing, accessing, registering an account, or submitting a vehicle listing on RVToad (operated under rvtoad.com), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and the Flat Towing Safety Disclaimer.

If you do not agree to every provision contained herein, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.

RVToad operates strictly as an independent vehicle discovery index, mechanical compatibility directory, and advertising venue. Unless executed under a separate written agreement, RVToad does not buy, sell, broker, lease, auction, transport, hold title to, or possess any listed vehicle or towing accessory.

All sale contracts, payment transactions, title transfers, and equipment installations take place directly between buyers, sellers, and independent installation centers.

Any seller submitting a vehicle listing represents and warrants that:

• They hold clear legal title, ownership, or authorized dealer power of attorney for the specified vehicle.
• All vehicle specs—including VIN, odometer reading, transmission type, transfer case configuration, installed baseplates, and diode wiring—are truthfully reported.
• Photographs and video tours depict the actual vehicle in its current physical condition without deceptive alteration.

Prospective buyers bear sole responsibility for conducting complete pre-purchase mechanical due diligence. RVToad strongly mandates:

• Commissioning an independent ASE-certified technician to inspect steering lock mechanisms, baseplate mounts, and braking diode harnesses.
• Performing a certified scale weight measurement (CAT Scale) to verify actual curb weight does not exceed the motorhome chassis Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR).
• Verifying exact transfer case neutral engagement directly in the printed vehicle OEM Owner’s Manual.

Users agree not to: (a) post fraudulent, cloned, or salvage-washed vehicle listings; (b) scrape or harvest dealer contact info via automated bots; (c) attempt script injection or security bypass; or (d) harass marketplace participants.

The RVToad brand, logos, user interfaces, proprietary fitment scoring algorithms, and compatibility database architectures are protected intellectual property. Users grant RVToad a non-exclusive license to host and display uploaded listing media across the marketplace index.

THE PLATFORM AND DIRECTORY DATA ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. RVTOAD EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR TOWING PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL RVTOAD BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING TRANSMISSION SEIZURE, DRIVELINE BREAKAGE, OR HIGHWAY ACCIDENTS) ARISING FROM PLATFORM USE OR TOWING EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be settled exclusively through binding confidential arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in Florida.
